Thanks Shawn. I'm glad some one helps us keep track of this. Wasn't Jesse at the cruise in?

This is a horrible system for keeping track...just my opinion. There were more people at kil-kare than are listed here Suspect

Corey has been doing a really good job and keeping a list on his phone for the events that he attends but relies on me and others to help him with the few he is not at. Most of the time he takes care of tickets the same day. So I think it would be a good idea to list the event and everyone who attended at least for some amount of time so we make sure everyone is accounted for.

Is two weeks long enough? Maybe it would be a good idea to start a different category and next year have an award for the person who attends the most events?

Also we need to decide what constitutes receiving a ticket. If one person enters a show he should get a ticket and be counted. If Chris and Adam went to a drifting event should that count? Or if several members go to a show like Good Guys and wear their AR shirts should that count?

we will have to talk bout attending shows without entering a vehicle. and events not on schedule need to have some kind of notice at least a 6 hr notice like cruise ins and such. same with drifting events ect. mass texts need to be sent out to EVERYONE in the club or it cant count. in my opinon if anyone dissagrees say something

I think if you don't enter a car but you come anyway and you are hanging out with the club and helping set up and take down it should count for a ticket. I also think you should have more notice than 6 hours, more like 24 hours. and everyone does not have everyones # so the person sending the text should make sure someone else can contact those people he or she does not have the # for.

I think Rob is talking going to shows to view the cars like Good Guys, Cavalcade of Custom, Pigeon Forge Rod Run and others where none of the members are showing. These could be considered a club event/outing especially if we are promoting the club.

As far as phone #'s go, there are some people who do not want their #'s passed out. I was talking to Rob about this the other day. We could have one person (event coordinator) who has all those #'s and if something comes up people would let the event coordinator know so they can send out a mass text. Their are several people who don't or can't check out the forum on a regular basis but I think member except one has a phone that receives texts.

yes I agree the six hour notice is pretty short but surprisingly many people respond with that short of notice.

This is something we need to discuss at the next meeting. We still have several things that need ironed out. According to our bylaws we were supposed to have a meeting August 1st and no one including me, remembered or even mentioned it.

my bad...and no one told me that shane was there...
i was told to post "delete after reading"
i think it would be a good idea to keep up for a couple of weeks in case someone makes a mistke...
and as for as time to let everyone know, it sould be 24hrs for events like shows but as far as cruise ins and kilkare its hard to let everyone know...
like Thur. me and thomas said hey lets have a cruise in. a couple hours later we met at walmart.
But i didnt go to get a ticket, i went to hang out...

personaly who cares about tickets? you go to events to hang out with the club not to try to get as many tickets as possible to win stuff.

but thats just me, im cool with just hanging with friends.

and members who have jobs...need to have a more detailed idea on what there expected to do. me, rob and fisher talked a lil about this on friday

yea the tickets done need to be for everything....the short notice cruisinns are just to meet and hang out...if your comming to get tickets then only go to shows and the green....but i agree the 24 hour should be min... if we set up a cruise inn that far in advance then it will be for tickets... also at our next meetting if anyone has any ideas for anything...be prepared to talk about it in front of the club and we will disscuss any changes anyone wants to make...
